Hilcona gives Demeter bees a home

The meadows around Hilcona AG are buzzing and humming with thousands of busy bees, happily at home at Hilcona’s headquarters in Schaan. Hilcona AG’s “Bee Hilcona” project actively promotes more biodiversity and counteracts insect mortality.

Full green steam ahead at Hilcona

Production at Hilcona AG in Schaan is carbon-neutral. The production of our foods is climate-neutral thanks to the use of steam and hydroelectric power. It all began with the pioneering commissioning of a steam line ten years ago and is now an important aspect of our company’s sustainable development.

Zero-carbon trucking

Hilcona takes responsibility beyond its factory premises. From now on, the Liechtenstein food producer, together with COOP and F. Murpf AG, will be using zero-emission hydrogen trucks to transport goods.

The Hilcona Initiative is about reducing carbon in community catering

The “So is(s)t klimafreundlich” (Climate Friendly Eating) Initiative whets people’s appetite for sustainability. Big kitchen – small footprint. Every day, many decisions are made that affect food. Each of them impacts the climate and the environment. Hilcona and the environmental specialists at “Eaternity” are taking a closer look at the impact of food on the climate and actively initiating change in community catering.

Hilcona is growing its organic lines

Liechtenstein-based Hilcona’s organic pasta products are more popular than ever. Thirty percent of all of the pasta which Hilcona sells is already organic. This proportion has risen continuously in recent years.
